Location: Moorestown, NJ
Rate: $31.00 - $40.00/HR
Duration: 3 month contract
Shift: 1st Shift

Description
- The Logistics Support Analyst candidate will have a strong background and complete understanding of the application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards of industry practices for the development of Provisioning Technical Documentation.
- The candidate will be required to collect and organize information necessary for the preparation of provisioning technical documentation, while having working knowledge of Logistics Support Analysis Records.
- The Logistics Analyst must be experienced in the development of large scale configuration hierarchical structured Provisioning Parts Lists, the review of Engineering Change Notices, and the preparation of Design Change Notices.
- The candidate will be well versed with the documentation requirements of MIL-STD-1552-2B, MIL-STD-1388-2B, MIL-PRF-49506 and GEIA-STD 0007.
- The candidate will have a working knowledge to identify all contract-required data elements for provisioned parts using on-line reference databases (HAYSTACK, FLIS,) and other automated and manual tools as necessary, while providing final quality assurance review of Provisioning documentation prior to contractual scheduled deliveries.
- The Analyst will have an understanding of Joint Services Application of Source, Maintenance, and Recoverability Coding (SM&R) and their application and relationship to Provisioning analyses, while having knowledge of the concepts, requirements, and execution of Reliability Maintainability Analysis, Maintenance Task Analysis, Level or Repair Analysis, Spares Modeling, Support and Test Equipment, Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation and Level of Repair Analysis.

Specific Job Description:
- Job Candidate must have foundational provisioning skills as well as the associated analytical and engineering configuration management skills combined with the ability to work independently in a Military based Performance Based Logistics (PBL) / Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) acquisition environment.
- The candidate will independently support and perform provisioning analyses activities including assessment of Maintenance Task Analyses (MTAs), and support front-end Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) using various software tools to influence new designs and modifications.
- In addition, the candidate will coordinate and perform supportability analyses of flight vehicle, and associated support equipment design (accessibility, functionality, commonality, and interchangeability), Air Vehicle Design, and Training Devices. The candidate will apply processes for supportability and coordinate logistics support analysis.


Skill/Experience/Education
Mandatory:
- Strong background and knowledge of MIL-STD1552, MIL-STD1388-2B, GEIA-STD 0007 and MIL-PRF 49506.
- Strong background in PowerLog-J
- Required to be experienced with provisioning development under the construct of the MIL-STD-1552, Mil-Std-1388-2B / DEF-STAN 00-60 a validated LSAR database.
- Bachelor’s degrees from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner.

Desired:
- Good understanding of the Provisioning Process.
- Strong Microsoft Access knowledge.
- The Job candidate must be willing to learn and adhere to Mil-Spec processes and be familiar with system acquisition, specifically the DOD 5000 series specifications requirements.
- The candidate should have an understanding of Joint Services Application of Source, Maintenance, and Recoverability Coding (SM&R) and understanding of Maintenance Task Codes and their application and relationship to Provisioning analyses.
- Candidate should have experience with provisioning development under the construct of the Mil-Std-1388-2B / DEF-STAN 00-60 a validated LSAR database.
- Related experience provisioning standards is highly desirable as well as understanding of Contractor Logistics Support and Performance Based Logistics (PBL) programs and how provisioning data/documentation supports those contracting approaches.
- Candidate should have an understanding of US and Foreign Military applications of Integrated Logistics Support.
- This includes knowledge of concepts, requirements and execution of Reliability Maintainability Analysis, Maintenance Task Analysis, Level or Repair Analysis, Provisioning Analysis and techniques, Spares Modeling, Training Analysis, Support Equipment Analysis, Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportability Analysis, Facilities Analysis, and Technical Publications Development and documentation.
- Specific understanding of the interrelationships and dependencies of these functional analysis activities is highly desired.
- Understanding or experience in support requirements definition, testing, evaluation, integration, and implementation of Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) / Government-Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) / internally developed Information Technology Tools and Software supporting Logistics Supportability Analysis activities is also desirable.
- Advanced MS Office Suite skills with a strong focus on MS Access capabilities is also desired.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills a must.
