Electrical Module Designer

Description:
An Electrical Module Designer job in Bloomington, MN is currently available through Belcan. In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to electrical requirements analysis, requirements definition, requirements management, functional analysis, performance analysis (e.g. timing, power, etc.), design, integration and verification of electrical components, equipment and systems. To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related specialized area or field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Due to the nature of the work performed in this facility, US citizenship is required.

Electrical Module Designer Job duties:

* Plans and leads electrical engineering root cause analysis for electrical issues, conducts experimental tests, evaluates results to formulate and implement solutions to issues.
* Contributes to the generation and maintenance of electrical work products (i.e. plans, specifications, design documentation, etc.) used for internal consumption and/or deliverable to external customers.
* Develops and presents electrical requirements, concepts, designs, decisions and results to internal management and external customers.
* May contribute to technical subcontract management that may include technical oversight and subcontractor work product evaluation.
* Evaluates vendor capability to support product development.

Qualifications:

* Experience with designing with DDR3 memory, FPGAs, PCIe, 10G Ethernet, X86 processors.
* Proficient use and understanding of electrical engineering concepts, principles, and theories.
* Proficient in electrical engineering design tools.
* Ability to recognize and clearly report information relevant to sound electrical engineering design.
