What You’ll Do:
•Substantial contribution to electrical requirements analysis, requirements definition, requirements management, functional analysis, performance analysis (e.g. timing, power, etc.), design, integration and verification of electrical components, equipment and systems
•Plan and lead electrical engineering root cause analysis for electrical issues, conducts experimental tests, evaluates results to formulate and implement solutions to issues
•Contribute to the generation and maintenance of electrical work products (i.e. plans, specifications, design documentation, etc.) used for internal consumption and/or deliverable to external customers
•Develop and present electrical requirements, concepts, designs, decisions and results to internal management and external customers
•May contribute to technical subcontract management that may include technical oversight and subcontractor work product evaluation
•Substantial contribution to electrical reviews of electrical components, equipment and systems
•Evaluate vendor capability to support product development
•Participation in the improvement of the electrical organizational processes
•Support the generation of engineering products by using the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the electrical development life cycle
•Contribute to the research and analysis of data, such as customer design proposal specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application
•Select components and equipment based on analysis of requirements
•May provide leadership and/or direction to lower level employees
•Independently determines approach to solutions
•Plan and execute project tasks for activities described above
•Generally works with multiple work groups, including with senior levels of l work groups
•Generally works on diverse range of complex problems under limited direction
•Generally has regular Contact with project leaders and Program Managers.
•Generally has Some contact with external customers

What You’ll Need:
•Proficient use and understanding of electrical engineering concepts, principles, and theories
•Proficient in the principles and techniques of Electrical Engineering
•Proficient understanding of electrical engineering processes
•Proficient knowledge of other related disciplines
•Keeps abreast of technology trends
•Aware of business objective and Engineering role in achieving
•Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
•Proficient in electrical engineering design tools
•Proficient written and verbal communications skills
•Ability to think creatively
•Ability to multi-task
•Skilled in communicating issues, impacts, and corrective actions
•Ability to recognize and clearly report information relevant to sound electrical engineering design
•Able to sell concepts and ideas
•Travel may be required
•Security clearance may be required
•Understands and applies basic project management principles including IMS, earned value and score cards
•Ability to work well in a team environment
•Preferred:◦Mentor Graphics DxDesigner and Xpedition V2.3 or higher
◦Hyperlynx SI/PI/DRC
◦Experience with designing with DDR3 memory, FPGAs, PCIe, 10G Ethernet, X86 processors

Education & Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or related specialized area, combined with 5+ years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree combined with 3+ years of relevant experience; or equivalent experience and education.
