Note (Mgr.): Multi-tasking, working with upper Mgmt., and Excel skills are a must.

The qualified applicant will become part of the El Segundo site Operations Project Management team (OPM), supporting Advanced Manufacturing Requests (AFR’s) that are submitted to our internal backshops supporting all programs. AFR’s are released and tracked daily for status and visibility up until completion.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Provides project leadership to integrate efforts of the project team, program management, functional homerooms, and line management. Project will be in support of issue investigations, producibility, and affordability.

Reviews status of AFR’s, manages estimated completion dates (ECD’S), prepares status reports and metrics, while also ensuring appropriate communications to all levels of upper management. Assesses project issues and risks, and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer objectives.

Will be responsible for conducting sensing sessions with functional stakeholders to ensure the execution of AFR’s to align with customer need dates and requirements.

Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Basic Qualifications:

3 years relevant work experience with Bachelors; 1 years with Masters Degree
Ability to work in cross functional teams and interact with both managers and customers.

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Ability to organize stakeholders while providing project visibility and closure plans.

Strong Project Management, Leadership and Organization Skills

High competency in Microsoft Office, including Project

Ability to work in fast paced environment, multitask, and flexibility.

Experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Must have the ability to read engineering drawings/blueprints.

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP MRP Knowledge
Aerospace and/or Defense Industry Experience

Proven track record of increasing responsibility throughout career path

Experience in multi-functional organization
