Repair Engineer

Description:
Primarily responsible for preparing and submitting SAR packages as justification for approval to repair/overhaul military aircraft engine components.
* Support repair development engineering team with development of new & existing repair procedures, tooling design/fabrication, & other associated technical documentation/instructions.
* Support continuous improvement & lean initiatives to improve existing processes/procedures and potentially investigate new processes, technology, & equipment.

Requirements:
Experience in the aircraft engine maintenance industry, specifically with component repair.
* Familiarity with OEM standard practice & repair procedure documents.
* Possesses strong technical writing skills to be able to package together source repair approval justification reports and documentation.
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes necessary to overhaul and repair aircraft components
* Ability to interpret component inspection criteria and use necessary hand inspection criteria.
* Ability to take technical data & repair procedures and turn it them into understandable work instructions for shop floor personnel.
* Must be a US Citizen or a US Permanent Resident.
