Job Description
In charge of establishing EME (mainly HIRF and Lightning).

Protection measures, together with Certification Activities %u2013 develop certification scenarios, get agreement from Airworthiness Authorities, and developing certification documents. Perform the following tasks for HIRF/LIGHTNING related activities and requirements per FAR 25.581, 25.1316, 25.1317.

(1) Certification Process Development
(2) Test Planning and Fulfillment
(3) Equipment, System, and Aircraft Tests

SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION

The basic work scope is but not limited to;

Basic work is to generate and maintain schedule, to grasp the progress and to present the status to the project manager.
Lead the development and finalization of the MRJ Type Certification (T/C) design, ensuring compliance with all applicable requirements.
Coordinate all operational aspects in support of the Project Manager
Assist the ATA managers in support of project objectives
Coordinate with ATA managers and the engineering team on each requirement, including scheduling, scope and cost.
Work as part of a multi-cultural/international team.

COMMON QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Utilize interpersonal and communication skills while working in a team environment.
Must have the ability to develop, plan and implement short and long term goals
Must have the ability to adapt to change.
The ability to strategize, plan and execute objectives on-time.
Must be able to work with little supervision, be detail orientated, flexible in terms of hours and responsibilities as required and be able to organize multiple priorities and work deadlines, in accordance with Schedules, Test Plans, Authority Guidelines and Certification.

JOB-RELATED QUALIFICATIONS

At least 10 years%u2019 experience leading HIRF/Lightning team for either a major tier 1 supplier or an Aerospace Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)
Must have an in-depth understanding of program/project management related to civil aircraft development and certification good practices.
Demonstrated success in developing and certifying HIRF/Lightning Protection/EWIS/EME/Fuel Tank Explosion Prevention Systems on recent new aircraft programs.

HIRF, Lightning, FAA and EASA requirements

Knowledge of the Japanese language is not a requirement
