Wire Design & Installation Engineer IV (PA)

Description:
SEVERAL OPENINGS

Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs. Analyzes results and performs design reviews. Leads the team to analyze results and performs design reviews. Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests). Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities. Develops complex statements of work, metrics, schedules and budgets. Performs technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection. Works under minimal direction.

_Aerospace experience is desired, but not required.
_Automotive wire harness routing / MBD experience will be considered.
_Proven Advanced CATIA V5. Resumes must show in a prominent section the CATIA V5 experience.
_Proven Advanced Teamcenter(IPDM)
_Proven Advanced MBD (Model Base Definition).
_Required recent experience (within the last year) in designing, developing, maintaining and releasing wire harness drawings and 3D Model based definition data packages using CATIA V5, the electrical workbench, and Teamcenter.

Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
Additionally, a Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline from an ABET accredited school is required. Candidates with Electrical Engineering Technology or AA degrees are not qualified—will not be considered.
