Contract Administrator

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Contract Administrator, in Windsor Locks, CT.

  • Ideal candidate would gain experience in Contracts, with Government Contracts and Intellectual Property.
  • Knowledge of International Trade Compliance (ITC), ITAR and EAR a plus.
  • Excellent computer skills required, including advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint abilities.
  • Previous SAP experience required.
  • Candidate will work with the Contracts Manager and team on contract/proposal related items such as processing new contracts for review and approval through various departments and with the Contracts Manager and distributing multi-departmental notifications as required of contracts and changes to existing contracts.
  • Further responsibilities will include creating, updating and organizing contract files (electronically and hard copy) such as maintaining with required documents (electronically and hard copy).
  • Work closely to data manager to track and follow up on contract reporting deadlines and deliverables including preparing documentation for contractual deliverables. Assisting with correspondence follow-up and submitting contract reports and other required documents to government agencies (DCMA/DCAA REQs).
  • Updating and maintaining SAP.

Other duties could include:

  • Proposal coordination, reviews and approvals.
  • Review and understand internal Proposal & Quoting process.
  • Comply with customer requirements for proper submittal.
  • Assist in the proposal preparation, packaging, routing and submission.
  • File correspondence and other documents related to business development.
  • Attend program meetings as requested.
  • Support the accounting department on invoicing when requested.
  • Work with Internal and External Customers related to contracts including the Navy, NASA and other Government agencies related to company contracts.
  • Review and understand Government and other Contracts.
  • Comply with all requirements in those contracts.
  • Maintain a system to identify and track contract requirements.
  • Understand Government Property procedures and regulations, maintain documentation.

Must haves from Manager Are:
  • Either a JD (Law Degree) or
  • Contracts Administration experience then from there SAP experience would be a plus. 

Contract’s experience: 

  • Negotiation. 
  • Contract law.
  • Contract formation.
  • Customer focal point.
  • FARs or DFARs knowledge.
