Aeronautical Engineer

Description:
****MUST be a U.S. Citizen****
****MUST have a Bachelor's Degree****
****MUST have an Active Secret Clearance or to have had one within the last 2 years. Interim Clearance would be acceptable****

Job Description:
1. Function as an F-35 Low Observables (LO) engineer and subject matter expert.
2. Five (5) years minimum Low Observables and/or radar signature experience.
3. Research defects, author engineering dispositions, and provide detailed instructions for F-35 aircraft.
4. Explain, oversee, and assist with repairs.
5. Lead non-standard LO work.
6. Provide schedule, labor, and materials estimates.
7. Interface with maintainers, engineers, and management, both at PAX River Integrated Test Force and externally.
8. Provide LO-related briefings. Assist QA with inspections.

Desired Skills:
1. Capable of interpreting aircraft low observable engineering drawings.
2. Good technical report writer and photographer.
3. Proficency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook) or windows operating system.
4. Familiar with F-35 LO materials suite.
5. Familiar with F-35 JTD, PDM, JDL, LOHAS, RVR, and F-35 specs.

1. Level 2: BS+4-8 YRS or MS+2-6 YRS
