Job Description:
Support Flight Sciences testing for the F22 Raptor. Provide on-site support for F22 flight test at Edwards AFB, CA. Monitor loads, flying quality, propulsion, utility, and subsystems. Monitor aircraft in the control room to verify safe flight test operations. Verify Instrumentation is working correctly in support of flight test missions. Collect and review flight test data. Support ground testing of various F22 components such as external stores pylon calibrations. Write documentation describing flight and ground test results. A BS degree in Engineer is required (prefer Aeronautical Engineering) with five to eight years of one of the specific loads, flying quality, propulsion, utility, and subsystems areas. The applicant must be able to attain specific program accesses for performing this job.

- Aircraft flight test knowledge.
- Flight Sciences background (Structures, Propulsion, Flying Qualities or Utilities & Subsystems.
- Data analysis skills.
- Computer skills to include MS Excel, Word, and MATLAB.
- Familiar with Edwards AFB flight operations.
- Familiar with Air Force Test Center processes.
- Ability to interface with management personnel & team members.
- Flight test experience.

Work Location: Palmdale, CA
Level: Level 2: BS+4-8 YRS or MS+2-6 YRS
Pay Rate: $85.00 Hourly
