Quality Assurance Engineer

Description:
We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with at least 11 years of experience! We have a great opportunity for you to work with a well-known company in the aerospace industry! Do not miss the opportunity to take a step further in your career!

The ideal candidate for this position will perform the following tasks:
* Ensures quality maintenance and adherence to policies
* Frequent interaction with government inspectors, aircraft units and client production is expected.
* Performs assessments and audits on processes and procedures to ensure compliance to specifications.
* Utilizes lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement.

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience:
* C-130, all systems qualified
* Experience as Quality / Collateral Duty Inspector or QC Analyst
* Must be able to obtain a secret clearance

Desired Qualifications and Experience:
* General knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 and DCMA INST 8210.1

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following skills and characteristics:
* Ability to read, understand USAF Technical Data / Instructions and OSHA / HAZMAT requirements, client policies and procedures
* Able to analyze and resolve process issues varying from basic to moderately complex with minimal guidance.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
* Good communication skills (both oral and written)
