RF Verification Engineer

Description:
L3 Cincinnati Electronics is currently looking for an experienced RF Verification Engineer to join our Design Verification team. As a member of this team, you will perform requirements-based verification of RF designs used on Spacecraft and Launch Vehicles.
The candidate will rely on knowledge of lifecycle verification and test methodologies to plan and drive verification activities across multiple projects.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Review and evaluate product requirements for testability
• Synthesize customer needs and requirements into test plans and procedures
• Develop creative early-verification solutions (rapid prototyping, simulation, etc.) to burn down technical risk early in development lifecycle
• Perform formal verification tests and generate formal test reports
• Plan, implement, test, document and maintain solutions for the integration and test of multiple projects

Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering or similar field of study
• 5+ years demonstrated experience designing or testing RF designs (transceivers, transmitters, receivers, power amplifiers, etc.)
• 2+ years demonstrated experience creating detailed test plans, test procedures, test requirements and/or requirements verification matrices
• 5+ years of hands-on experience testing and troubleshooting RF designs using spectrum analyzers, power meters, network analyzers, etc.

Desired qualifications include…
• Experience using DOORS
• Experience designing test sets with National Instruments equipment
• Experience designing or using NI Labview software
• Experience developing or testing VHDL
