Principal Engineer, Avionics

Location: Canoga Park, CA
Pay Rate: DOE
Duration: 6+ month contract (slated for ~7.5 months)
Shift: First, OT possible

** MUST be a U.S. CITIZEN **
** Dual citizens are NOT eligible for this role. Also, candidates with a current non-U.S. passport in addition to a U.S. passport are NOT acceptable **

Duties:
-Support Electro-Mechanical Packaging of complex electrical/electronic assemblies required.
-Extensive experience in Creo design required.
-Candidate must have strong GD&T and tolerance analysis skills required.
-Extensive knowledge of electronic packaging design for harsh environments, with Aerospace and/or military experience.
-Experience in design of cables and harnesses for applications for Aerospace products.
-Proficiency in use of Creo PDM/Link and Windchill.
-Proficiency in generating drawings is required.

-Electronic-Mechanical Packaging Design required
-ProE/Creo CAD design required
-Windchill required
-GD&T required
-Electronic packaging design for harsh environments required
-Drawing Generation required
-Creo PDM/Link required
-Design of cables and harnesses.
-Tolerance Stack-up analysis.

Education:
-BSME with 10 years of experience or 15 + years of equivalent experience.
