Spring 2023 Co-op, Systems Engineering (R&D), Neuromodulation

We are seeking high caliber, innovative students who have an interest in the healthcare industry to join our Client Neuromodulation Systems Engineering R&D Team. Client co-ops obtain technical, leadership and professional development skills that allow them to build successful careers in STEM.
Client Neuromodulation Co-op position is 6- to 8-month full-time (40 hours per week) onsite and will serve as an integrated team member with the Systems Engineering R&D team. This posting is for candidates able to start in January 2023
Your experience(s), education, and knowledge:
• Eligible students must be currently enrolled in the school year of the assignment and the semester following their assignment.
• Candidates must be currently enrolled at an accredited undergraduate or graduate engineering program
• Studying Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science degrees.
• GPA of 3.0 or greater
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal direct supervision
• Candidate must be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the 6-month Co-op session
• Students must be able to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship
Your preferred qualifications and education:
• Rising juniors, seniors or graduate students preferred.
Responsibilities:
• Take an active role in Client Neuro’s digital transformation via synthesizing large amounts of data, collaborating with internal engineers, developing a plan and executing data migration (this may include writing code and macros in the ALM tool, and validating the data transfer)
• Conduct system testing and provide data, results analysis, and reports to the project team in a timeline driven process.
• Create, execute, and monitor system automation tests.
• Synthesize large amounts of information to drive understanding for internal team members. Examples include analyzing user research, auditing the competitive landscape, crafting research into compelling presentations.
• Exercise technical judgment in the design, execution and interpretation of experiments, and use professional concepts to solve complex problems in creative and effective ways.
• Provide project or product support as needed to support business and R&D objectives.
