Senior IT Systems Administrator (Secret)

Description:
A Senior IT Systems Administrator job opportunity is available in Pittsfield, Massachusetts . In this role, you will be responsible for managing the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems, serving as a front line interface to users with technical issues, Physical security officer and other security team members. This position requires U.S. Citizenship and a Bachelor's degree.

Senior IT Systems Administrator Job duties:

* Interacts with third-party technology vendors and internal database staff
* Performs administration of physical and virtualized servers
* Provides input and follows a Disaster Recovery Plan for Physical and Virtual Servers
* Performs OS and vendor software patching on servers

Qualifications:

* Due to the nature of work performed at our facilities, US citizenship is required.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience is required plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree.
* Independently identifies tasks or projects that need to be done and effectively prioritizes time to complete multiple assignments
* Demonstrated ability to assist in developing and implement plans for upgrades and system enhancements
