Will be part of the CORE R, M&S team, supporting Sustaining Programs, New Development Programs, Fly By Wire RMS certification activities and/or strategic technology programs & advance design. Primary tasks are to conduct aircraft safety and/or system safety activities, and to support all design/sustaining activities.
Will be responsible for all R,M&S deliverables specific to the assigned systems;
Aircraft Functional Hazard Analysis(AFHA),
System Functional Hazard Analysis(SFHA),
Preliminary/Final Aircraft Safety Analysis(PASA/ASA),
Preliminary/Final System Safety Analysis(PSSA/SSA),
Failure Mode Effect Analysis(FMEA),
Fault Tree Analysis (FTA),
Candidate Certification Maintenance Requirements (CCMR),
Common Mode Analysis(CMA),
Particular Risk Analysis (PRA)
Will participate in the system functional hazard analysis, aircraft and system fault tree analysis, system safety assessment, failure mode and effect analysis and the final R,M&S certification report.
The duties will also require certification activities. This will involve co-ordination of technical issues and resolutions across all Clientr, Partner/Supplier, Regulatory and Customer parties.
In your role RMS-MMEL, you will.
Prepare and update Client Manuals within the norms and procedures for MMEL.
Participate in MMEL workshops with all stakeholders, to ensure a successful approval of the MMEL package.
Interface with DADs, System Engineering, Flight Sciences, Flight Operations, Stress as part of the MMEL activity.
Interface with other internal and external customers (e.g. Airworthiness, Certification Authorities, Operators, Product Support.
Respond to comments provided from the authorities.
University degree in electrical/mechanical/software engineering with at least 10 years R,M&S experience.
Strong electro-mechanical background and has an excellent understanding of aircraft performance characteristics, aircraft systems definition, integration, interfaces, component qualification, reliability and safety requirements and certification process of flight controls systems.
Have preferably been directly involved in the aircraft definition and certification.
Must be very cognizant of the relevant Airworthiness Regulations and certification process.
Have the ability to communicate sound technical proposals and work status to senior management, be a team player, a self-motivated person and be able to work under pressure.
Must also show a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
Have good oral and technical writing skills in English are required (French is an asset).
Have basic knowledge of MS Office.
Have knowledge of creating Failure Mode Effect Analysis, Fault Tree Tree, the Master Minium Equipment List Analysis and Safety Analysis is required.
