Will be part of the CORE R,M&S team, supporting Sustaining Programs, New Development Programs, Fly By Wire RMS certification activities and/or strategic technology programs. Primary tasks are to conduct aircraft safety and/or system safety activities, and to support all design/sustaining activities.
Candidate will be responsible for all R,M&S deliverables specific to the assigned systems. Aircraft Functional Hazard Analysis(AFHA), System Funtional Hazard Analysis(SFHA),
Preliminary/Final Aircraft Safety Analysis(PASA/ASA),
Preliminary/Final System Safety Analysis(PSSA/SSA),
Failure Mode Effect Analysis(FMEA),
Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Candidate Certification Maintenance Requirements (CCMR), Common Mode Analysis(CMA),
Particular Risk Analysis (PRA)
Candidate will participate in the, system functional hazard analysis, aircraft and system fault tree analysis, system safety assessment, failure mode and effect analysis and the final R,M&S certification report.
Duties will also require certification activities. This will involve co-ordination of technical issues and resolutions across all Client, Partner/Supplier, Regulatory and Customer parties.
Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering with at least 10 years R,M&S experience.
Have strong electro-mechanical background and has an excellent understanding of aircraft performance characteristics, aircraft systems definition, integration, interfaces, component qualification, reliability and safety requirements and certification process of flight controls systems.
Have been directly involved in the aircraft definition and certification.
Have knowledge of the relevant Airworthiness Regulations and certification process.
Have the ability to communicate sound technical proposals and work status with senior management, be a team player, a self-motivated person and be able to work under pressure.
Have a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
Have good oral and technical writing skills in English are required (French is an asset).
Have knowledge of creating Failure Mode Effect Analysis, Fault Tree Tree, the Master Minium Equipment List Analysis and Safety Analysis is required.
Must have Aircraft Level Knowledge of the following:
CMA - Common Mode Assessment
CCMR Process - Candidate Certification Maintenance requirement.
ARP4761 Safety process
Must be proficient with Excel
MS Access database development would be asset
Microsoft Office Suite
CATIA would be an asset
Visual basic would be an asset
