EMC/EMI TEST ENGINEER - TELECOM / COMMERCIAL

Description:
Johnson Service Group, a leading Engineering Staffing and Consulting company has an immediate opportunity for a talented EMC/EMI Test Engineer.

Required Experience and Responsibilities:

-2-5+ years of experience in a commercial/telecom EMC laboratory, operating as a Test Engineer.

-Commercial Regulatory standards include GR-1089, FCC part 15, EN300-386, EN55022,EN 55024, EN61000-4-X.

-Hands-on experience with EMI/EMC related technology and test equipment, such as Spectrum Analyzers, RF Amplifiers, etc..

-Ability to write and execute EMC Control Plans, EMI Test Plans, and generate procedures and reports.

-Perform testing in accordance with industry standards using recognized applicable instrumentation, including LISNs, antennas, amplifiers and additional RF equipment.

-Record and prepare test data for customer reports, and maintain accurate and timely test logs.

-LabVIEW, or a similar data acquisition system, is pfreferred.
Coordinate the maintenance and calibration of EMC test equipment.

-Lead test set-ups, and operate/adjust test equipment for EMI/EMC testing.

-Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.

-Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Education:  4 year Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar engineering-related field.

Duration:   Contract-to-Hire

Location: Fullerton, CA

Compensation:   Highly competitive compensation and benefits.

Citizenship:  U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (legally able to work in the United States) is required
