Real Time Embedded SW engineer w/Missile experience (603)

Description:
*This is a 1 year, contract position, located ON SITE in Grande Prairie TX*

*Job start dates vary from 10/1 to 11/1/18*

We are hiring a contract embedded C,C++ software engineer who will be working on Secret projects for a military/DoD subcontractor. The position requires a candidate with strong background in the full development lifecycle including architecture design.

Daily duties will include code implementation, integration and test, source code control and issue tracking tools along with using modern test tools to do unit test and static analysis. An ideal candidate will be able to configure and manage a continuous test environment

Required
*4-5 years in developing software in real time embedded C/C++ (Unix or Windows based).
*Experience with VxWorks, Integrity RTOS environment
*Missile or launcher experience
*Current Active (or active in last 2 years) Secret Clearance; which requires US Citizenship in order to apply.
*BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent

Pluses:

*Configuration Management (CM) experience

*Ada Experience
*Familiar with communication buses/protocols such as RS-232, RS-422, MIL-STD-1553 and Ethernet
*Experience with Agile or Razor

*Experience with Rhapsody or DOORS
*Able to configure and manage a continuous test environment
*Experience developing in an Open architecture, multi-core processing environment.
