Senior Principal Composite Structural Design Engineer (Secret Clearance)

Description:
• Candidate will be responsible for structural design of primary and secondary composite and metallic aircraft structural parts and assemblies for both new and existing aircraft.
• Candidate will work within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment, interfacing with IPT leadership, suppliers, customers, and other technical disciplines.
• Proficiency with the NX-TeamCenter tool suite and the ability to independently prepare and lead the preparation of product build packages is essential.

Candidate may participate in on-site support at product manufacturing and integration sites.

Basic Qualifications:
• 9 Years with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD. (Will consider years of experience/education in lieu of degree).
• Experience designing composite aircraft primary structure.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• The ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Programs.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science degree in STEM.
• Proficiency with NX solid modeling software.
• Proficiency with TeamCenter PLM software.
• Proficiency with FiberSim composite definition software.
