Mechanical Design/Drafting UG NX 11

Description:
*This is a full time, 6 month contract located in York, PA*

We are recruiting for a Mechanical Designer II who has recent experience in both electrical and structural designing using UG NX 11 (Unigraphics); experience in aerospace/DoD mechanical designing would be helpful, but not mandatory. Candidate will be working on military DoD land armored vehicle systems/structures and parts design.

Much of the work may be in mechanical and parts design, preparing items for machining and fabrication, welding, and assembly. A good knowledge of manufacturing processes will be used daily on manufacturing site.

Required:
*5 years’ experience, preferably in in military/aerospace, mechanical or electrical design using UG NX 11
*Strong modelling skills
*Experience reading engineering blueprints, schematics.
*AS degree

Pluses:

*Creo experience
*Vehicle designing experience a plus
