We are looking for a Navy Ship Systems Engineer who will perform planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

Candidate will perform the full life cycle from concept to design, fabrication/test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Applicant will gather customer requirements, considering the technical, schedule, and cost constraints of such a proposal.

In order to get system online, contractor will conduct functional/timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Required:
*4 years’ experience in Naval Ship System Engineering functions as mentioned in the description.
*Knowledge of MIL-STD 461, MIL-STD 167-1A, MIL-STD 901D which are shipboard environmental screenings (ESS) for vibration, moisture, heat, EMI, etc.
*Active Interim or Secret Clearance; US Citizens only please.

Pluses:
*Knowledge of requirements gathering tools, preferably, DOORS
*4 year degree in a technical field
