Description:
We have an Excellent Contract position for a Senior Technical Writer to join a leading company that would enjoy working remotely.
**U.S. Citizenship Required.**
The Contract is for six months with a possibility to go direct. (Not Guaranteed)
Monday- Friday 8-5
Target Start Date 06/01/2020
Background/Drug test and credit check will be before starting the position
Company will provide Laptop
Pay Rate $45.00 to $50.00-hour DOE

Must have the following;
Consolidate and review technical product documentation in alignment with updated branding strategy.
Review, consolidate, and update bid enablement materials; proposal, past performance citations, etc. A minimum of 10 years’ direct experience and a bachelor’s degree. Five years’ additional direct work experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s requirement.

Job Duties/Responsibilities: The senior technical writer will consult with engineers and Subject Matter Experts to obtain raw information and to document cloud computing products, processes, and software tools. The technical writer will obtain raw information from various sources, including interviews with stakeholders, source materials, and research. The technical writer will design, create, and maintain all aspects of the various types of documents—such as user guides, white papers, design specifications, products, and service descriptions. Additionally, the technical writer may need to identify and incorporate graphics and screenshots as necessary to communicate messages. The technical writer will be expected to create documentation that is accurate, complete, unambiguous, and concise.

Qualifications: The technical writer shall possess a strong knowledge of technical publications, writing procedures, professional formatting, and a high degree of writing skill, editorial judgment, and initiative, to independently plan and complete writing assignments. The technical writer shall also possess a comprehensive understanding (for purposes of writing) of the federal cloud computing market, including an understanding of AWS, Microsoft Azure, cloud APIs, infrastructure as code, and federal IT security. The candidate shall have excellent organization, communication and writing skills, and high proficiency with Microsoft Word and SharePoint. The technical writer shall make available sample works.

Education/Experience Requirements: A minimum of 10 years’ direct experience and a bachelor’s degree. Five years’ additional direct work experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s requirement.
Understanding a full spectrum; marketing, graphics, presentation, create documents and be able to communicate with vendors and suppliers.
