Description:

Join our team to support the Avionics Integration and Verification group under the Avionics and Software Integrated Product Team of our SLS Program.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze test results on avionics systems using modeling, scripting, & simulation tools to demonstrate compliance with requirements across the range of formal verification methodologies
• Plan and observe demonstrations
• Review verification data from teammates and suppliers’ product verification closure packages
• Apply standard engineering practices to plan and execute verification activities for Command and Data Handling (C&DH), Flight Instrumentation, Sensors and Telemetry Subsystems
• Review, and support execution of, test procedures
• Resolve problems in real time when encountered during testing
• Manage large data sets accurately
• C&DH data bus and timing analysis and modeling
• Collaborate with Responsible Engineers, customer technical staff, suppliers, and SLS teammates to ensure verification planning is technically sound and appropriate data will be gathered to support verification closure activities
• Test & verify data
• Develop models for formal analysis
• Verify requirements across the range of formal verification methodologies
• Resolve problems of the Instrumentation Programming and Command List (IP&CL), which enables all data communication across the Command and Data Handling architecture of the Space Launch System

Qualification:
• Technical background in analysis using a high-level programming language such as Python, MATLAB, or similar.
• Able to interface with the customer as needed.
• Able to clearly express ideas/concepts, perform as part of a team, and operate in a multi-tasking environment.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering, Math, or Computer Science)
