We are currently searching for the right talent to fill this opportunity:

Structural Analysis Engineer 3
(U.S. Citizenship Required*)
Tukwila, WA

• Develop, integrate, and document structural requirements to establish the system design.
• Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product environment.
• Guide product design and verify structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.
• Verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
• Develop test plans and configurations, supports test execution and analyze/report test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
• Define and document certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.
• Support in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements.
• Work under general direction.

• Proficient in Patran, including manipulating and interrogating internal loads models.
• Experience working on programs (e.g. BCA, BDS) using using Design Manual analysis methods and Composite Structures Workbench (CSW) is preferred.
*U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

Education and Experience:
• 4+ years of experience using classical methods for structural sizing of traditional airframe structure, metals and composites (joints, strength, stability, shear resistant beams, crippling etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree
