We are currently searching for the right talent to fill this opportunity:

Product Review / Liaison Engineer 5
(U.S. Citizenship Required*)
Renton, WA

Jump onboard with an exciting project – you’ll build new skills while applying key Liaison skills. You will support high visibility developmental programs which are helping the shop floor, and you will direct teams focused on improving the factory.

• Work alongside production system modeling team creating predictive software.
• Help developmental production system modeling tools predict more accurately.
• Bring shop floor Liaison knowledge to tune model.
• Help highlight actual errors.
• Work as SME for design team.
• Apply advanced knowledge of company design and/or engineering principles.
• Assess and resolve product/process issues through the product lifecycle.
• Lead research of technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by customer and designs interim and final engineering solutions.
• Direct cross-functional teams to analyze, conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for complex design non-conformances.
• Lead investigations into complex multidiscipline system related events.
• Use innovative approaches and unique applications to address complex nonconforming conditions and to detect deviations
• Assess complex system events reports to determine potential safety issues.
• Analyze reported problems for potential safety issues.
• Develop and implement product/process improvements.
• Lead development of interim and final solutions.
• Provide design phase subject matter expertise by supporting Integrated Product Teams (IPT).
• Represent the engineering community in the build through post production environment.
• Oversee documentation of hardware problems.
• Identify the need for technical training.
• Lead activities for on on-site disabled product repair teams and accident investigation or support team.
• Review and approve design and operational concepts for new designs.
• Design complex jacking and shoring schemes.
• Lead the design of interim structural repairs and conducts static strength analysis.
• Develop and lead non-destructive test procedures, tools and standards.

• Must have 737 Renton shop floor assembly experience.
• Must bring SME level connections and knowledge.
*U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years' experience, Master's degreee with 8+ years' experience or PhD with 7+ years' experience.
• Degree from ABET accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
