Customer Service Coordinator

Work with Customer Account Representative on various tasks required to support assigned customer accounts.  Perform customer portal management related to the retrieval of request for quotes and purchase orders. Perform data entry into company business system. Maintain sales order electronic files.  Prepare and track Contract Requirements Review forms. Perform other duties related to customer support.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage customer portals including extracting request for quote, new orders, change orders, forecast requirements, as well as providing order acknowledgement and ship schedules
  • Create sales orders by entering acceptable purchase order into company business system  including special customer requirements and required flow-downs
  • Prepare Contract Requirements Review forms (CRR) for all new and change orders and route to appropriate disciplines for review, then forward to Customer Account Representative for final review/signature
  • Maintain Contract Review log by tracking status of Contract Reviews within each discipline
  • Maintain sales order electronic files
  • May communicate with customers both verbally and by email and participate in customer conference calls or onsite visits when required
  • Interact with other departments (engineering, supply chain, production control, manufacturing, quality, shipping) to obtain status to ensure delivery of product to the customer
  • Retrieve and review customer scorecard information (for delivery performance) and make challenges as necessary

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Must exhibit a high level of motivation and a sense of urgency
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and accurately
  • Able to prioritize and follow up accordingly
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines and work in fast paced environment


  • Minimum 2 years of experience related to customer service
  • Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment strongly preferred


  • 2 Years Associate Degree or Junior Technical College, or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience preferably in an aerospace manufacturing environment

Education and Experience

  • Requires High School graduate/equivalency.
  • Requires 7+ years related administrative experience in a manufacturing environment, aerospace preferred.
