Key skills: structures design, engineering, aerospace, CATIA V5 or other CAD work bench and standards such as CFR 14, Part 400, Part 23, Part 25, military or NASA desired.
Seeking a design engineer with experience developing to airframe structural components, assemblies, and integrated systems. This role executes work autonomously and provides technical guidance to a team of engineers through the process of generating detailed design definition, and supporting fabrication and assembly activities throughout the production of the vehicle. Engineers in this position are expected to have strong experience with commercial aerospace standard design practices and methods as well as engineering experience in design and analysis required to develop efficient solutions.
Your Mission
Development of conceptual designs through manufacturing of details, assemblies and installations. Support production and operations teams to ensure vehicle readiness for flight. This includes a detailed involvement in fabrication and implementation activities. Participate in the continuous improvement of design practices, procedures and technology. Participate in the engineering definition review, approval, and release process in accordance with the industry and company standards. Support review of manufacturing plans and procedures to ensure compliance with design requirements. Organize time and resources effectively to meet the demands of internal customer requirements. Develop technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
