Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking a Logistics Management Analyst for the F/A-18 program located in El Segundo, CA.

The candidate will be assisting with the management of retrofit changes to delivered F/A-18 A-G aircraft from contract award through engineering development, kit part accumulation and kit Validation and Verification. Ensure affected functions maintain schedule to support engineering development and kit delivery. Report to Program Management the status of same. Track financial performance of each Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) and report to Program management monthly. The candidate will also develop the L-58 data package from released Post Production engineering and deliver to Boeing in accordance with the established delivery schedule.

The Candidate will respond to Requests for Quotes from the customer for retrofit changes to the F/A-18 A-G aircraft. Coordinate with the proposal manager regarding all aspects of the change in order to provide cost effective estimates for the Post Production organization.

The Candidate must be able to communicate clearly verbally and in writing, and work with all affected organizations throughout the program to ensure on time schedule performance. Candidate must also be able to provide recommendations regarding process improvements.

Basic Qualifications:

Technical BS Degree with 6 years’ experience, 4 years’ experience with Master’s Degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

F-18 aircraft experience

- Prior experience with post production support of military aircraft
- Extensive logistics or prior military experience
- Understanding of engineering drawings and engineering release process
- Competent user of Microsoft Products
