Shop Floor Manufacturing Engineer/3rd Shift

Description:
Term: This is a full time, 6 month, contract assignment in York, PA
Hours: 10:30PM-6:30AM Monday to Friday

We are seeking a 3rd shift, junior shop floor mechanical engineer work in the paint shop and mechanical areas to solve problems and to monitor our military tracked vehicle plant. Applicant will be working the majority of the time on correcting and troubleshooting any production or quality issues as well as creating and improving production efficiency.

Candidate will be reporting and regularly communicating with supervisors, conducting presentations on findings, perform modelling, conducting technical reviews, proposal / cost contract and reporting preparation assistance, etc.

Required:
*2 years’ manufacturing or production engineering shop floor experience.
*Familiar with root cause analysis and reliability/quality engineering
*4 year, BSEE or equivalent.

Pluses:

*Familiar with paint shop work within a vehicle plant, preferable large vehicles.

*ISO 9000, AS9100 or LEAN knowledge
