Systems Engineer

Description:
A Systems Engineer position in Dallas, TX is currently available through Belcan. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work directly with customers and multi-disciplinary teams on complex projects in a vibrant and dynamic team-oriented environment. To be considered for this position you must be a creative thinker with excellent communications and interpersonal skills, a passion for excellence, and strong engineering fundamentals.

Systems Engineer job duties:
* Lead projects through development lifecycle; demonstrate ownership and end-to-end accountability to implement and complete projects in a cost-effective and timely manner.
* Lead cross-functional technical teams including project planning.
* Plan and track the project via project schedules to ensure requirements and project deadlines are met.
* Resolve engineering design and test problems.
* Communicate requirements, schedules and deliverable information to internal and external customers and suppliers.
* Generate technical specifications including data sheets, requirements specifications and product specifications.
* Support Marketing by providing technical information required for data sheets and other marketing literature; providing feasibility studies for candidate new products and technology needed to serve targeted markets.
* Support sales by providing proposals and technical information related to new business opportunity activities.
* Assist with recruiting team members.

Skills & Experience
* Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
* 3+ years of relevant experience
* Strong understanding of analog/mixed-signal IC's and their applications
* Strong PC Board design experience
* FPGA code or platform development; Testing FPGA's and DSP's
* Solid team player with strong interpersonal skills, clear verbal and written communication skills and a high degree of accountability and drive for success
* Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum generators, power supplies, and thermal stream.
