Role Overview:
As an Electrical Technician, you will play a pivotal role in testing aircraft systems, diagnosing and rectifying system discrepancies to minimize disruptions to schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and functionally test electrical/avionics components and systems on aircraft, adhering to Engineering specifications, drawings, and maintenance manuals to ensure flawless systems.
Uphold the quality and efficiency of all installations, troubleshoot processes/concepts to swiftly and effectively repair malfunctioning systems.
Demonstrate proficiency in repairing or replacing defective components and wiring, ensuring installations align with conformity standards. Employ sound repair techniques, including splicing, soldering, and pinning of wiring.
Execute engineering changes and modifications as required.
Set up and operate essential test equipment, conducting functional and operational tests to assess performance and reliability.
Ensure meticulous documentation of all work performed on the aircraft, ready for inspection.
Test and maintain test equipment, electronic systems, and components.
Comply with the company's FOD (Foreign Object Debris) program, tool control program, 5-S program, and all safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
Four (4) years of experience in an avionics/electrical career field OR two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and two (2) years of related experience.
A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license is preferred.
Additional qualifications such as FCC or NCATT are a plus.

Pay Details: $32.18 per hour
