PDS Tech, INC. is seeking an Assembler in Albuquerque, NM.


  • Monitoring, assisting, and improving all aspects of Safety, Quality, Productivity, Inventory and Delivery in their work cell. 
  • Will abide by all Safety requirements and work rules, adhere to Standard work, flex and learn new work assignments as directed to support business objectives. 
  • Participate in daily Tier 1 meetings and perform periodic audits for 5S, HSE&F, & ESD immediately notify Work Flow Specialist, Supervisor and/or Engineer of any issues. 
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned. 
  • Participate in Tier 1 Producability, Safety, and General Continuous Improvement activities. 
  • Participate in Tier 1 BIQ/RPS activities as required. 
  • Work required daily and weekend overtime as required to meet SLD delivery dates. 
  • Ability to cross-train on a variety of electronic product groups. 
  • Lift and maneuver end items weighing in excess of 20+ lbs. 
  • Position can be any Shift Position, 1st, Swing, or 2nd based on business requirements. 
  • Perform a variety of electronic and mechanical hand assembly on PWA’s, ECA’s, and Finished Goods. Use of soldering irons, rework equipment, microscopes, and various mechanical assembly tools and fixtures required. 

You Must Have: 
  • Minimum 36 months of experience supporting electronic assembly operations, Soldering, use of various manual and pneumatic hand tools. 
  • Ability to interpret work instructions, assembly drawings, component data sheets and follow advance sub-assembly procedures and processes. 
  • Basic computer skills to open and view electronic assembly build instructions, update SAP Build Documentation, assembly drawings, electronic labor hour time systems. 
  • IPC-A-610F, Class III Solder/Inspection certifications. 
  • High School Diploma or GED. 
  • Must be a US Citizen due to contractual restrictions.

  • Ability to follow specific workmanship instructions, multitask and be receptive to changing priorities for achieving customer satisfaction. 
  • Ability to use technical terms to communicate verbally and in writing. 
  • Requires knowledge of industry assembly standards and certifications. 
  • Ability to perform a variety of tasks and works under direct supervision. 
  • Ability to perform within a cross-functional team when determining root cause and corrective action to address root cause corrective actions as required.
