Advanced Information Systems Specialist
Secret Clearance Required
Huntsville, AL

• Support/administer/configure a network environment such as servers, routers, switches, etc
• Report status and discrepancies in system performance in a clear, concise and complete manner
• Analyze, interpret and refine requests to assure understanding of assignment(s)
• Collaborate with the team when additional information is needed to perform root cause analysis
• Support the team with the validation and verification of new software builds during installs, assists with troubleshooting and documenting on the spot fixes to remedy issues post install
• Perform daily system monitoring to maintain a high state of readiness
• Write and/or review system Operational Procedures and system documentation

• Required – Active Secret clearance. Candidates without clearance will not be considered.
• Required – Successfully pass a credit check.
• Able to implement/support/monitor/troubleshoot/rectify network issues on a physical and/ or virtual network as they arise
• Understands how to manage group policies, local security policies, and government standards for: Creating, modifying, and removing user accounts
• Experience performing information technology support functions within a large corporate network environment.
• One or Microsoft Certifications
• Experience with imaging and software deployment
• Understands routing and switching
• Experience configuring and managing VMWare products
• Experience developing procedural documentation for complex IT activities
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products
• Professional attitude and appearance providing excellent customer service at all times, to include maintaining a good work ethic and assisting other team members as needed
• Understanding of configuration management practices
• Excellent Oral and Written communication skills
• Willing & able to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change
• Willing & able to work as part of a team
• Practices creative thinking and ideation to advance our business performance
• Demonstrated the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with non-technical and technical audiences
*US Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in a specialized area; or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
