We are currently searching for the right talent to fill this opportunity:

Customer Training Specialist 3

Mesa, AZ

Join our team as an Apache courseware and training developer & instructor. Using your recent experience in attack helicopter avionics and armament, you will develop courseware and execute training requirements for the Apache. You’ll train maintainers and pilots in the classroom, on simulators, and through practical application of task performance on actual Apache training hardware and associated training devices.

• Prepare training courses, including developing and modifying course materials and technical/training manuals and materials that reflect the customer's actual aircraft configuration.
• Through observation and written evaluations, determine that a student understands materials covered during conduct of training and is proficient in the performance of relative tasks with or without additional instructional intervention.
• Use current teaching techniques, advanced presentation skills, and instructional methods; includes computer based training (CBT) and Instructor Led Training (ILT).
• Assist with proposal development.
• Assist with analysis of customer technical training needs.
• Use specialized software technology to research, configure, maintain, update and develop new and existing media & materials.

• Qualifications required as an AH-64 D/E Yankee (avionics/armament specialist) along with very recent experience in attack helicopter avionics and armament.
• Experience/skill in designing/creating training material
• Advanced proficiency in MS Word & PowerPoint
• Experience/skill in avionics maintenance
• Background in courseware and training; proficient in preparing lesson plans, curriculum outlines, and POIs.
• Background in Apache Yankee including proficiency training others on all major Apache components.
• Must have the ability to read schematics and technical drawings
• Skilled presenter and communicator
*U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
