Compensation: DOE
Assignment Length: 6+ Month contract (potential for Contract to Hire for the right candidate)

2. SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR JOB DESCRIPTION
Sta11dard Job Description: Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, includ¬ing coordination with network administrators. Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing sys¬ tem wide software and allocate mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation relat¬ed to the use of computing resources.

2.1.SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR LEVEL 2
Specific Job Description: Lockheed Martin requires system administrator to perform the fol¬
lowing tasks:

• Apply required security patches
• Application integration support and knowledge
• User account management/active directory management
• Determine root causes of problems and recommend strategies to prevent recurrences
• Management of log files
• Manage IT technology refreshes
• Perform system diagnostics, troubleshoot problems, and systems documentation
• Perform system backups, restores, and bare metal restores
• Ability to provide 'after hours“ and weekend support, as required
• Maintain work instructions required to reinstall an application, rebuild a server, setup or delete a user account

Required Minimums: Experience with Solaris OS and/or Windows OS. Current Security + certification

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Master’s degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner.

Security Clearance: Secret

2.2.SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR LEVEL 3
Specific Job Description: Lockheed Martin requires system administrator to perform the fol-lowing tasks:

• Apply required security patches
• Application integration support and knowledge
• User account management/active directory management
• Determine root causes of problems and recommend strategies to prevent recurrences
• Management of log files

• Manage IT technology refreshes
• Perform system diagnostics, troubleshoot problems, and systems documentation
• Perform system backups, restores, and bare metal restores
• Ability to provide 'after hours' and weekend support, as required
• Maintain work instructions required to reinstall an application, rebuild a server, setup or delete a user account
• Scripting

Required Minimums: Proficient with Solaris OS and/or Windows OS. Scripting experience. Current Security + certification

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experi-ence/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional ex¬perience with a related Master’s degree. Considered career, or journey, level.

2.3.SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR LEVEL 4
Specific Job Description: Lockheed Martin requires system administrator to perform the fol-lowing tasks:

• Apply required security patches
• Application integration support and knowledge
• User account management/active directory management
• Determine root causes of problems and recommend strategies to prevent recurrences
• Management of log files
• Manage IT technology refreshes
• Perform system diagnostics, troubleshoot problems, and systems documentation
• Perform system backups, restores, and bare metal restores
• Ability to provide 'after hours' and weekend support, as required
• Maintain work instructions required to reinstall an application, rebuild a server, setup or delete a user account
• Scripting
• Implementation of Cyber tools

Required Minimums: Expert with Solaris OS and/or Windows OS. Scripting experience. Experience with Cyber Tools (i.e. Nessus, ACAS, Splunk, HBSS). Current Security+ certification

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree. Considered an emerging authority.
