Software Engineer

Description:
Looking for a Software Safety Engineer:

**Candidates must have active secret clearance**

Work with Systems, Safety and Software engineers to implement software safety plans on multiple programs. Analyze system/software designs to determine safety related functionality and impacts. Perform code reviews to ensure compliance to SW Safety requirements. Assist in the development of requirements and designs related to SW safety standards and requirements. Generate analyses documenting SW Safety related verification products.

Required Qualifications:
Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, or other software-related engineering program
5+ years of Software Safety, Software Development or Software Verification experience
Ability to express engineering findings orally and in written technical reports
Programming Languages: C/C++ or strong general coding experience including object oriented design

Desired Qualifications:
Software Safety experience
Working Familiarity with MDA Mission Assurance Provisions (MAP), MIL-STD-882, and/or other industry standard Software Safety requirements
Embedded Software experience
