Implementation Analyst

Description:
You will enable financial institutions to streamline their payments solutions and provide new products and services to our customers across the globe.
You have a short daily touchpoint with your project team.
Your team is responsible for the complete implementation of our Payment Solution: installation, configuration, deployment, integration, high level design, release preparation, test support.
As an Implementation Analyst you work within the client facing technology team to ensure timely delivery of Client solutions to our clients. Under the direction of a Technical Manager, you will support during the full Release lifecycle. This work includes supporting and guiding the deployment, Code merge, Manage regressions, Change Management reviews and deploying the client solution in internal test environments.
You will sit with your peers and your manager in our Lake Mary office, but will also collaborate with our Parsippany and London offices. You may travel a few week’s per year to the client’s site for meetings, workshops or installations.
On your first day we will provide you with a company friend who will serve as your peer and mentor during your on-boarding journey. The company will also have many courses designed to build your leadership skills along with a variety of online and instructor-led courses that will help you build your technical skills as well.

Daily Deliverables:
Merging code branches (Mercurial, Tortoise, Eclipse/IntelliJ)
Grafting individual change sets
Building application (ant/maven)
Executing regression tests (Jenkins, JUnit) and troubleshooting (debugging)
Fixing regression tests
Review test results with QA or BA team
Monitor build and regression tests. Resolve environment issues with the help of the DevOps team
Ensure the integrity of the release artefacts (Jira) to deliver quality releases
 
Good core Java understanding and experience
Experience with releases and code delivery
Good troubleshooting skills
Works to deadlines and can escalate issues effectively
Excellent communication, written and team skills
Enthusiastic and self-motivated

Essential Skills and Experience:
BSc or MSc educated
2+ year: Core Java development
Experience with automated build tool (e.g. Jenkins)
Can analyse and troubleshoot existing Java code
1+ year: Java IDE’s (Eclipse/IntelliJ) and Build tools (Ant, Maven)
1+ year: code merging and version control (e.g. Mercurial)
1+ year: Unit Testing

Highly Desirable Skills:
1+ year: Large scale commercial software development
1+ year: Application Deployment with Application servers (WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss)
1+ year: Release and code delivery
Travel Requirements:
Possible travel to other locations in US and Europe
