Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Initial work is a trade study that involves researching four possible implementations that range from identifying replacement parts due to obsolescence to significant architectural and packaging options. This initial trade study is high level and may translate to immediate follow on work.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Electrical System architecture
Electrical design experience, especially power electronics (480VAC, 600VDC, 50KW), DCDC, and Motor Drive
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Can perform cost trade benefit analysis
Can specify high level requirements

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Navy Hardware
MIL-STD-1399 section 300
COTS
Digital design
Motor controllers, and motor design

EDUCATION:
Accredited Engineering Degree

WORK HOURS:
9/80, 7 - 4:30pm
