Senior Quality Engineer

Description:
A Senior Quality Engineer job is currently available for Belcan working at our large customer facility in Phoenix AZ. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have five or more years of experience within the quality engineering and a minimum of an Associate Degree in Engineering.
You will be collecting data, analyzing, reporting and driving quality issues to conclusion; investigations based on quality clinic findings.

*Pay Range is $35-42/hour*

Senior Quality Engineer job duties:
* Lead and coordinate efforts to conduct root cause and corrective action activities on parts/assemblies deemed nonconforming.
* Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholder reviews.
* Communicate status, track, and provide solutions for nonconformance's, and deviations that affect production and customers.
* Coordinate failure analyses reports with all stakeholders
* Using quality tools to identify Root Cause and Corrective Action
* Assist team in tracking, documenting, and dispositioning non-conforming hardware using various quality tools.

Core Qualifications:
* Associate degree in Engineering (highly desired)
* Five or more years of quality engineering experience in an electronics assembly plant; ideally within the aerospace industry
* Experience focused on one or all of the following: electronic assembly processes, electronic manufacturing blueprints & specifications, and electronic manufacturing operations
* Experience with Customer Returned Material inspection
* Proficient skills with root cause and corrective action (RCCA)
* Knowledge of both ISO and AS9100 quality requirements
* Intermediate skills with SAP and MS Excel
* An enthusiastic team member, who is passionate about mentoring the next generation of engineers
* Knowledge of manufacturing blueprints and engineering drawings.
* Familiarity with variety of quality engineering tools
* Due to the nature of this work, US Citizenship

Desired but not required skills:
* Lean Six Sigma certification
* Bachelor's degree preferred
