Manufacturing & Quality Engineer

Description:
A Manufacturing & Quality Engineering job is currently available at Belcan Engineering in Camden, Arkansas. This is a long-term position that can offer direct with benefits, or contract with per diem employment. Great matching candidates will have shop floor production experience, process improvement capability, and history developing and implementing standard operating procedures. You will be embedded into a production environment to add dedicated shop floor support, update/revise SOP's for current production processes, and drive existing backlog of improvement initiatives for follow through.

Manufacturing Engineering job duties:
* Dedicated production support to shop floor personnel.
* Update / revise Standard Operation Procedures (SOP's) for current processes.
* Develop and implement SOP training with shop floor personnel as required.
* Drive existing backlog of improvement ideas to follow through.
* Implementation of electronic work instructions.

Core Qualifications:
* Seven or more years of manufacturing and quality engineering experience, within a shop floor setting
* Three or more years of aerospace and/or defense manufacturing
* BS or MS in Engineering desired but not required with relevant experience.
* Lean Six Sigma Manufacturing training and implementation
* Project Management experience and/or training highly desired
* Legal authorization to work in the US: Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship is required
Desired but not required skills:
* Ability to travel
* PMP certification
* MBA
