Contracts Negotiator

Description:
Our client, a global security and aerospace company, is principally engaged in the research, design, development, manufacture, integration and sustainment of advanced technology systems, products and services. Solving complex challenges and delivering innovative solutions to help customers keep people safe and provide them essential services, our client is hiring for the following critical need:

Contracts Negotiator

Responsibilities:
• Apply experience from previous work associated with drafting/developing subcontracting methodologies, business processes and contract clauses for the unique provisions associated with PBL & Depot Partnering contracts.
• Work with Procurement, Sustainment Operations, Contracts and Legal organizations as deemed appropriate by the Director of Major Systems & Equipment to develop contract provisions which will provide the basis for establishing long-term relationships with supply base.
• Responsible for analysis of needed business relationships, development of contract clauses which will reflect business requirements as well as mandatory flow-down requirements.
• All clauses will be compliant with FAR/DFAR requirements
• Assistance in the development of procedures, processes and training on the various sustainment models and business relationships.
• Support AMMM
• Other tasks as may be deemed appropriate to meet the overall objectives of Global Sustainment Activities.

Qualification:
• Willing and able to support a 9/80A work schedule.
*U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

Education and Experience:
• Juris Doctorate required combined with 5+ years of experience; Bachelor’s Degree combined with 10+ years of experience.
• FAR/DFAR, government/DoD contracting, UCC (Uniform Commercial Code) experience required.
