Technical Recruiter

JSG is currently seeking a Technical Recruiter for one of our premier Aerospace clients in Middleton, MA!

Our Client is expanding and opening an office location in the New England, Greater Boston Area called the New England Innovation Center (NEIC) with plans to hire 30 staff members. We have local recruiting support providing pipeline and candidates for the top priority open positions and this role will assist the recruitment team with various tasks within the full life-cycle recruitment process, as well as assisting in meeting hiring deadlines. This role will be located in Middleton and will provide support to the NEIC, and be responsible for administrative tasks within the recruitment process including extending offers and will be assisting with confidential information.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Support Engineering teams with technical recruiting expertise to attract and hire top talent in Embedded and Application Software Engineering, GNC Robotics Controls, Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, and Aerospace Engineering, AI, etc.
Provide consultative partnership to hiring managers with the focus on sourcing for hard to find skills and passive top talent at all levels
Experienced full life-cycle recruiting including, but not limited to sourcing, screening, qualifying, interviewing and candidate relationship management while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the selection process.
A successful candidate must be able to manage competing demands, accept constructive feedback, while being extremely adaptable and flexible to changing business requirements.
This position requires a demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad/deep range of technical and professional positions and handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
Demonstrated ability to command the attention and respect of leadership.
Ability to create and manage strategic alliances and drive the process.
Must demonstrate solid judgment, the ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures.

Required Qualifications and Background:

U.S. Citizenship required
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
5+ years full cycle technical recruiting experience in a fast paced and complex organization
Must have corporate recruiting experience, ideal candidate will have a combination of corporate and agency/staffing experience
Proficient in sourcing passive talent utilizing various sourcing techniques and tools (Web search, LinkedIn, Boolean searches, etc.)
Successful track record of understanding technical job specs to effectively source talent
Experienced in negotiating and extending offers to candidates
Familiar with Taleo or similar Applicant Tracking Systems
Experience in an Engineering and/or Aerospace and Defense company is preferred (ITAR requirements)
Strong follow through and documentation skills – email correspondence, ATS system notes, etc.
Proactive, organized, flexible, responsive and resourceful collaborative team player
