Location: Savannah, GA
Rate: $70.00 - $80.00/HR
Long Term Contract

**W2 position ONLY**

Unique Skills:
Positions will need experience in VMware, AIX VIO, Windows Server and AD

Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or technology related field highly preferred. Minimum seven (7) years of experience designing, building and supporting server solutions. See Other Requirements.

Position Purpose:
Design, implement, maintain and support data center server solutions that meet specified non-functional requirements for the business.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions: 1. Responsible for operational excellence of data center server systems assuring reliability, high performance, secure operations. 2. Manage, implement, and support data center server solutions with primary focus on monitoring, computing, design deployment, systems maintenance, capacity management, change control, storage management, application processing, network, and security services, for production and test environments. 3. Manage server solution projects by working closely with product development teams and business management to set and achieve service level targets. 4. Coordinate, prioritize, and report on key activities and projects in a timely manner. 5. Establish and regularly report metrics needed for continuous improvement, capacity management, and other general requirement of a systems development lifecycle. 6. Build solutions that incorporate capabilities for rapid problem detection and resolution including escalation policies used by network operations centers staff and incident response teams. A credit history check from a national credit bureau will be conducted for all candidates for this position including new hires and current employees seeking promotion or transfer.

Other Requirements: 1. Experience with servers, storage, networks, operating systems, databases, and middleware components 2. Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience with configuration, implementation and support of Cisco UCS Blade servers 3. Knowledge and experience in virtualization for software defined environments (i.e. network, servers, storage, test) 4. Knowledge of physical/virtual server, storage, nearline/offline backup, disaster recovery, and networking concepts and fundamentals.
