Quality Assurance Engineer

The ideal candidate for this position will perform the following tasks:
* The position will interface directly with the F-35 Training System (TS) Deployment and Sustainment Quality Program Manager on Product Quality Assurance (PQA) work tasks/priorities and functionally reports to the LM RMS PQA Center of Excellence (COE) Manager for F-35 TS.
* Will be expected to quickly come-up to speed with the F-35 TS products, Hardware PQA work scope, technical requirements, program risks, and delivery milestone schedule.

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience:
* Must have a demonstrated history of strong performance and ability to take initiative across a variety of QA responsibilities/tasks on development and/or sustainment programs.
* AS9100 knowledge.
* Proven audit experience.
* Use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
* Familiarity with Hardware Engineering requirements, design, integration and test.
* Good understanding of hardware dependencies, development lifecycles, process flow and development methodologies.
* Must be able to manage multiple priorities and have strong documentation and follow through skills.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of quality engineering experience.
* DoD contract experience.
* Knowledge of LM RMS process and procedures.
* Lean/Six Sigma black (or green) belt.
* Knowledge of software development lifecycles such as Agile Development.
* Knowledge of C/C++, C#, Java and Scripting Languages production quality, flow, and procedures.
* Experience with installation activities at customer locations, interacting with customer/Government representatives for acceptance.
