Avionics Lab Technician

Description:
1st & 2nd shift positions available

Structural lab technician capable of working from engineering drawings with limited guidance to conduct static and dynamic material and component level tests utilizing MTS axial and axial ? torsional load frame facilities supported by MTS Flex test 40 and 60 control systems.

Must be able to read and interpret engineering mechanical drawings.

Must have prior experience and proficiency setting up and operating MTS load frames supported by MTS Flex 40 and 60 control systems.

Additional responsibilities and tasks would include the buildup and operation of mechanical test facilities in support of ongoing test development programs.

Must be able to assemble required fixtures and facility hardware.

Must be able to work on elevated work platforms.
