Customer Solutions Manager

Description:
A Customer Solutions Manager job is currently available at Belcan in Cape Canaveral, FL. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have eight plus years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree in engineering (graduate degree preferred). You will be responsible for delivery leadership of multiple simultaneous engagements, building relationships with senior customer leaders to grow Belcan's account presence, and developing Manufacturing and Supply Chain team members.

Customer Solutions Manager job duties:
* Mix of billable project delivery and customer/business development
* Provide delivery leadership guidance and coaching to teams of Belcan personnel on multiple customer engagements
* Lead industrial engineering time and motion engagement from onset to scale
* Develop long term, trust-based relationships with senior customers
* Identify new opportunities to support customer needs
* Leverage Belcan's technical expertise to architect solutions
* Develop statements of work/proposals to scope and kick start new customer engagements
* Contribute to long term growth of key account(s)

Qualifications:
* Excellent trust-building, active listening, and communication skills
* Space, defense, or aircraft manufacturing leadership
* Broad experience across multiple areas of operations value chain (e.g., design to build, source to procure, manufacture to delivery, flight/launch to recover)
* Experience conducting shop floor observations
* Experience leading improvements in a shop floor setting
* Ability to architect and propose solutions to client challenges
* Complex project management, including ability to lead multiple project teams
* Hiring and developing talent
* Experience working with senior executives
* B.S. in industrial, mechanical, aerospace, systems, quality engineering, or equivalent amount of relevant work experience
* US Citizenship required

Desired but not required skills:
* DoD Security Clearance
* Consulting experience
* Organizational change management
* Lean and six sigma
* M.S. in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, other engineering or MBA
