Product Quality Engineer

Description:
A *fully remote, part time* Product Quality Engineer job is currently available at Belcan Engineering. Great matching candidates will have at least three years of experience involving quality and/or manufacturing engineering. You will be working with first article inspection reviews, reports, and processes (FAIR's), as part of a large aerospace focused quality engineering team.

*This is a fully remote, part time position (20 hours per week)*

Product Quality Engineer job duties:
* Complete product audits.
* Review and update all ballooned drawings to the most recent drawing revision for all drawings within scope.
* Characteristic Accountability: Verify all ballooned characteristics as well as complete spec breakout highlighting all accountable characteristics.
* Cross reference each accountable characteristic to planning to show how/where in the process features are accepted or to highlight deficiencies in the quality plan.

Product Quality Engineer Qualifications:
* AS or BS in Engineering: Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or similar
* Three through seven years of work experience within quality and manufacturing engineering. Internship, co-op, and project experience WILL be considered
* Knowledge of first article inspections/reporting/processes within aerospace is ideal, but not required. It can be taught
* Understanding of product engineering / manufacturing concepts and applications preferred
* Ability to be a self-starter with potential for technical leadership and guidance
* Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills
* Legal authorization to work in the US required: Due to the nature of this work, US Citizenship required
