Tolerance Analyst / Checker

Description:
Location: Windsor Locks, CT
Rate: $65.00/HR
Duration: 1 year contract
Per Diem Split: No

Job Description:
- Proved tolerance analysis support to mechanical design staff.
- Individual must be an expert in ASME Y14.5 and able to answer tolerance questions specific to GD&T application, datum selection and manufacturing principles.
- Candidate will work within excel and or in a tolerance study notebook to verify all layout dimensional requirements are met.
- Work within Pro E Windchill/ PLM to obtain model definition.
- Specific experience in rotating equipment, pumps, fans motor assemblies, and valves is a critical need.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma.
- Candidate to have 10 plus years of direct experience in a mechanical engineering and or drafting discipline.
- Degree not as important as the ability to produce the work accurately from the start.
- Candidate is expected to be an expert in tolerancing.
- The ability to create drawings and work within Pro E Windchill and PLM is a bonus.
- However this specific role will be focused on tolerance study creation.
