Wire Design & Installation Engineer III (MO) - UNIGRAPHICS

Description:
Develop aircraft avionics system installations, concepts and designs. The primary responsibility will be to participate as a member of the Equipment Installation Team in the execution and management of the mechanical design, production, integration, installation and support of all equipment and materials into the F-15 program. As the Equipment Installation Team is shared, the team also performs similar duties (including retrofit) for the F/A-18 and EA-18 production programs as well as the AV-8B and T-45. This position requires interaction with other Air Vehicle & Mission Systems teams. The individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining equipment product detail and creating assembly & installation designs (e.g. equipment trays, racks, mounts, shelves, electrical panel assemblies and antenna). Will follow established processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of mechanical commodities. This individual will be accountable for meeting the cost, schedule, quality and performance to plan metrics established by the Team Leader.
Applicant must have superior Unigraphics skills and good communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Moderate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.

Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.
